Punk chicks wear whatever hair they have hacked into different lengths, usually stricking out from their head, and dyed bright primary colours.

Rocker chicks go for the straight but really glam look, incorporating a lot of subdued colour in chunks.

These are two totally different sytles and never the twain shall meet.
