GEL did not seem to work.... made my hair too hard and greasy looking ..... ? I don't know what else to try !

I'm sorry but you links don't work but I have a lot of friends who have emo hair and they use a root volumizer. You could always back comb your hair but I wouldn't suggest it cause it can damage you hair ..but if you dont mind some split ends here is a video on how to back comb your hair...it also gives you tips on how to do it!
