Piercings and tattoos in school??

Do you think that public or private schools should make a big deal about piercings, tattoos, and hair color( like punk rock trends people follow)???in school

Piercings and tattoos in school??

Private schools can do whatever the hell they want... I once got reprimanded for wearing too many rings (on my fingers, not piercings) and would have been suspended if I dyed my hair during the school year.

As long as you're not posing a distraction or making yourself a shiny metal walking target, I don't think it should be an issue. If there's ever a time to try those things out as you're establishing your identity, it's high school and/or college. Once you're out in the real world, that window to try new things closes, sadly.

Piercings and tattoos in school??

no, they shouldn't care at all what we look like or whats pierced or what artwork we have on our body, they should focus on what kids are there to do and that's to learn. Report It

Piercings and tattoos in school??

yes.. when you get out in the real world, very few employers will actually hire you if you have visible piercings or tattoos.

if you can't get hired you cant have money, which means no house no food no clothes, no shopping, no nothing.

If it is a distraction or gang affiliation.

Your supposed to be over 18 to get a tattoo , so I say NO to those being exposed.

And when peircings are all over your face No.

HAir color in public school, I dont care about. Liberty Spikes, may block someones view.

Piercings and tattoos in school??

No they shouldn't.....

It's your parents' job to give children the boundaries that you need to function in a group setting for the purposes of learning.

The schools should just throw you out if you look like a fool.

Among other things, school tries to educate you about taste.

Too much piercing, tatto, and liberty spikes don't fit the setting of school. Just like wearing a nightgown in a gym or swimming suit to a formal party, excessive piercing and all that stuff looks out of place.
